Job Location: Philadelphia
Tube City IMS, a leading provider of outsourced steel services, including raw materials procurement, scrap management, raw materials optimization, slag processing, metal recovery and surface conditioning services to integrated steel mills, mini-mills and foundries, is seeking a Non-Ferrous Platform Director and several Brokers.
Both positions will be proficient with Microsoft Office software including Excel and Word as well as ERP software. Will have strong oral and written skills, good statistical analysis skills, be
The Director will have overall responsibility for the department including supervision of the Brokers. The ideal candidate for the Director position will have brokerage experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, experience setting up a new department within a growing business. Preference will be given to BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related or a combination of experience/education. MBA preferred, 5-10 years experience within the scrap/metal industry dealing with non-ferrous metals (previous management experience desired). The candidate must also have the ability to function both effectively and independently
The Broker is responsible for the buying and selling of non-ferrous metals such as copper, bronze, aluminum etc. The candidate will coordinate activities with other Brokerage, Transportation and Finance personnel and assist in the performance of brokerage duties If qualified and interested send a resume and salary requirements to humanresources@tubecityims.com or fax to (215) 563-5588.
